Hi all, has anybody ever had parking sensors fitted? Just got a 2017 kadjar and looking to have this done before the wife prangs it! Just wondering if the wires needed would already be in the bumper and it’s as simple as buying comparable sensors and plugging them in? The option for them comes up on the rlink but we’re obviously never fitted.

Unfortunately it’s not possible as a kit to retrofit sensors that integrates with the rlink2, it would need an awful lot of parts from a damaged vehicle plus the add on loom, it’s just not feasible.
Renault do offer an OE kit, rears or front and rears, unfortunately the fronts, according to the instructions don’t fit in the the OE places on the bumper and don’t come colour coded, quite an expensive exercise.

An alternative is to fit aftermarket sensor which will give you the same results as the OE aftermarket kit at a lower cost.

The option here is for a reversing camera kit available as a after market kit, self fit and is intergrated into the rlink 2 as the OE equipment. If you look at the header at the top of the page. It’s a well thought out kit making it relatively easy to fit. I have reviewed the fitting process and every part of information has been included to make it as simple as possible.
