Don't buy the cheapest one (like 3 pcs for a pound) either from AliExpress, eBay, Amazon... It will last like two or three months. Have expiriance from Scenic... At last I bought Maxell and it lasted again for 2 years. Still I always have a spare one in my personal bag...

Just changed the battery in a card that's 1 year old. Now it only wants to work if you leave the small black battery cover
Off. Any ideas.

sounds daft but you have got it the right way up ,,,,, and check the neg connector to the battery it can bend and not connect right    :)

Yes the battery is in the right way round and all the connectors appear to be ok. Will I get away with not fitting the battery cover?
