Hello All, I have just purchased a 16 plate Renault Kadjar Signature Nav. I seemed to think when I viewed the car that upon locking and unlocking the vehicle the mirrors automatically opened and closed. I have got the car on my drive now and this feature doesn't seem to be working. I am now beginning to doubt if it even has the feature at all. Does anyone know if there is a way to enable or disable the feature as I wonder if it's been done when the car was cleaned.

Many Thanks

Yes the mirrors should fold/open when you switch on/off the engine well at least they do on my Dynamic and would have thought they also do on a 2016 Nav model,
I can also manually close/open the mirrors if I am sitting in the drivers seat when say I am waiting for someone from the door switch
So is your door switch locked over to closed ??

Okay so I can make the mirrors close by using the manual push button, this has 2 positions, out is mirrors open, pushed in closes the mirrors. It doesn't matter which position the switch is in it doesn't automatically open and close the mirrors when locking or starting the car. The owners manual points you towards the welcome and goodbye function located in the vehicle settings on the multifunction screen, I have checked and "External Welcome" is set to "ON" just cant understand why it is not closing the mirrors automatically when I lock the car

2016 models don't have auto fold mirrors, mine's a 66 plate and it's manual only. Later models did get auto fold - can't remember the exact date.

I was under the impression that this was introduced in cars PRODUCED late 2016. Yours might not have it. Could be mistaken though.

Doesn’t the switch have a middle position that operates the automatic function?
