Does anyone with this engineand box know if the mpg improves after running in?
We got ours pre-registered with 10 miles on the clock and the fuel consumption is pretty high at 29mpg av for a mix of urban and extra urban. Admittedly thats non-eco mode with cilmate on but still thought it might be slightly better than that!

there is big debate about MPG with cars, what classifies as urban ext , everyone will have different consumption dependent on traffic, temp, conditions.

i have found honest john's website shows what average people are getting take a look there.

to answer your question, yes it should improve after it is run in, and i personally don't think the eco button makes the slightest difference, except, to make the car less smooth.

miny you, I expect i will be told i am wrong lol

I have the Early 2016 Bose Version and I never drive in Eco Mode.

Since I upgraded the Firmware to 2.2.19.300 from 2.2.17.803, yours may start 3. in which case I can't speak for your car, my MPG has improved a lot. Motorway driving I am getting up to 45mpg, providing there is not too much traffic, and a mix of around town A and B rounds, again subject to traffic, mid to high 30's.

The Eco mode I find just stops you accelerating hard I find and that is about it.

Do you use the Start/Stop system? I know it does get over ridden, subject to the internal temperature of the car in relation to your climate control settings and how much the battery is charged, but it does help a little.

Thanks for the replys guys, We have just done a 350mile trip today which was a mix of A,B roads and motorways mostly sticking to the speed limits :-)
I reset the trip computer before I left and got a average of 35mpg so not too bad but hopefully will come up a bit once we put a few more than its 900mls on her.

Just got back from a holiday in Ireland with car.
We covered 750 miles on a mixture of all road types and averaged 42mpg.
Car has done 11000 miles and is a 1.2 Tce EDC.
We find MPG improves with mileage.
