Hi, I was wondering if anyone knows of a HOW TO going around to remove the dashboard trim.
Vents, Instrument cluster sections and the top dashboard cluster visor as I want to remove mine and add some anti rattle felt.
Thanks!

added another pictureThought I would just go for it. Here are a few pics of what I did.

The steering column hood just prised off with three clips.
There is also two screws under cluster to take out for removing cluster plastic trim.

The top steering column cover prised off with trim tools

Cluster plastic trim then just prised off with trim tools

There are two screws above the cluster for removing top visor this then just pulls towards you and lifts off.

The centre media surround unclips using trim tools and then the centre vents also prise off using tools.

Did that then sprayed all the plastic clips that cant be seen with PTFE spray and addeed some .5mm single sided felt to parts I thought were rubbing.
All noises gone. Really chuffed with the result big big difference
I hope the pics show this ok.

Great post for anyone having the same problems. How long did it take you, and how much would you have had to fork out for a dealer or garage to do the same job?

Thanks I thought it would be handy to let others see. It is so worth doing.
Because I was taking my time it took 2 hours.
I wouldn't put the car into a dealer to pay for that and you can put on as much felt as you like.
I was £6 off ebay for two lengths of felt a .5mm and 1mm.

Any reason you did all this with, apparently, the engine running?

Ha ha.
I should have stopped it but just forgot. I had it running for turning the steering wheel to different positions so it wouldn't lock.
