Yes, I have followed the instructions and it is well mounted. the relay was installed, of course. even the instructions says that to open the mirror you need to start the car. but I do not settle for this, this has issues as I said. that's why I think about changing something of this installation or maybe the software can change the central so that the mirror opens when the car is opened

1 month ago I had same problem but with driver side mirror not folding/unfolding.
Went to Renault service center and my friend explained to me that during period of time water finds its way into the casing of exterior mirrors. (flawed design)

Solution: They took my car, cleaned and greased mechanism of both exterior mirrors. Had to pay 10 euros total. :)

For 4 years, the prolem is solved ;) Or at least I know what to do when it reappears (2-3 times a year) - a good spraying with PTFE spray fixes it. Same solution for the sqeeking steering rod on its exiting of the cabin. That's why I always have teflon spray in the trunk.
