Hi all, hoping you might be able to solve a bit of a mystery. Getting used to the new car, but wondering what these two things are in the car: the grill thing on the right of the parking brake, and the little sticky-outy bit on both pillars. I imagine there's a simple answer, it would be great to know! Thanks in advance for any help.

Ronnie is right. 

The coin holder is where the 4x4 system (rotary dial) would normally be (if you had the 4WD Kadjar). Those sticky out bits are part of the alarm system. They are the sensors.

Thanks for the responses, I think that sounds correct. A coin holder seems like it's asking for an opportunist to break a window for the sake of some change..

in my kadjar i dont have coin holder. i have a hole there .. i put coins there allthought

Earlier versions had a coin holder, then it got replaced with a dish type thing, presumably cost saving.  As someone else suggested it also located the 4x4 switch or traction switch as an option.
