I have seen 96 over a 20 mile speed restricted motorway journey, but my norm is about 84, and that's trying hard. Stick my neck out here as the 1.5 and 1.6 dci is shared by both kadjar and qashqai.

My 1.6 was overall more economical than my 1.5. 1

1.5 cheaper on urban, 1.6 much better at cruising speeds, depends on your journey type.

i know its low mileage but its impressive

 

You sure you turned the engine on????

i rarely get below 80 and that was after a refuel 

but it is impressive 

I did once manage to stay at 100/100 for 10 miles. but to be fair, it started with a 1.5 mile downhill coast from the filling station to my house immediately after I started a new trip.

I think you can get good economy but we are all saying the same thing, to achieve that you really have to work at it and to be honest, drive in a manner likely to annoy other road users.

It can never be economical at speed given the style, brick shape, of the car. I had a Megane estate with the 1.5dci, it wasn't so badly affected by speed and was more easy to drive for out and out economy.
