I’m off on Hol’s soon to France and very confused about headlight deflectors
I’ve got a 2018 model with LED lights front and back
The handbook shows an adjustment for halogen lights but mine are LED so there’s no mention of what to do. It looks like you can adjust the high beams but that’s not going to solve this.

So I contacted Renault and got different answers each time :-

1, You don’t need them for LED headlights , just adjust the headlight height to position 4
2, You need headlight deflectors but not the stick on ones you get from Halfords as they will melt onto the headlights
3 , Another said I need these https://shop.renault.co.uk/headlamp-deflectors/
Although when I mentioned these to others they said they would melt on the headlights

My previous vehicle had headlight protectors and re usable head light deflectors, but Renault don’t make them

They don’t even do a bulb / fuse kit for the vehicle either , even though some are still bulbs in my vehicle.

Anyone know the answer to this one ?

Led headlights have a flat beam pattern and self adjusting so no need to to anything.
You can try out pointing them at a wall.

The halogen lights (yellowish) in colour do need altering as these tend to have flickie up part to light up the verge

LED bulbs don't get hot so they would struggle to melt an ice cube, never mind plastic. It's also why some owners have reported problems with condensation within the units.
As for carrying spare bulbs, I doubt that many owners could dismantle their vehicles to the extent required to change some of them!

If your car is the same as mine, there is a height adjustment wheel under the dash near the fuel and bonnet release levers. When I drive down to Portugal, I just lower the lights so as not to dazzle anyone. I don't think any other action is needed.
