Sign on dashboard says the Key fob battery is low, (car only 12 month old)

I have taken the battery out and it is a Maxwell CR 2032 H, I see plenty of CR 2032 batteries for sale
so does it have to be with the H at the end

No. Just buy Duracell. They last the longest.

Hi tynesider,

I also use Duracell but, be warned, it can take two or three days for the wretched message to disappear from the dashboard. I spoke to my very friendly local dealer and he said that that is not unusual and it sometimes helps to lock and unlock the car using the buttons on the keyfob a few times. I hope that helps.

they chanced mine with renata battery. In 2 months were off! i went to the shop and said that the batteries are one of the best.
they change them again , renata again, and now is on for 6 months and still working. i want to see how they will last.
