This Category is specifically for the engine 1.2 TCE as there seems to be a suggestion that there may be a floor with the design.

Hi all just took my Kadjar 1.2 tce into Renault to have the air con gas pressure checked, they said the pressure was a little low but there is another issue it appears that there is a small engine oil leak coming from the timing chain cover.
the car has done 13000 miles only and it is booked in for 2 days next week to have the work done under warranty.
they are going to change the timing chain, tensioners, etc also the auxillary belts and top up the air con all free of charge otherwise the bill would be £1600 !!!!!!
will get back with an update when all work has been complete.
