Never had it before parked the car up for 20 mins came out open the door to drive off... started the engine with the door open... beeping doing that went on for 20 plus beeps... my daughter standing away from the car could hear it, as could we inside the car... while we were parked the alarm had not gone off ... any ideas ...

At a guess I would say that the Kadjar doesn't like being started with the door open.

No not that have started the car many times with the door open... it was a different sound to the normal alarm sound you get when say returning back after alarm has been set off ....
