Hello and welcome. Just read the last few pages of this thread and you have it all explained. Including links for download of ready map files. You might need a small file to open up your R-link for "unathorized maps". Just tell us which version of R-link 2 you have and we will point you to the correct file.

Yes, but Georgia is one country away (only crossing Turkey) and my friends are very impressed, been there multiplie times While I would not go by car in Malta (ferry, small island, right side driving).
