Hi, I did it for my car. The downgrade is not necessary.
It takes about 20 minutes but after that you have to update your maps and your apps.
Android Auto is working fine.
Why the hell Renault is idiot?

What version do you originally have ?

I had 2.2.19.300.
In the near future will not be a solution for Apple Carplay.

As I said I am just a happy customer. I do not sell this and I was pretty skeptical. I was sure that if this is possible Renault would do it!

There are (this is what I know) 4 guys doing this: 1 in Belgium, 1 in Italy and 2 in Romania.

The one in Romania I know ask for 70 Euro. He developed an app (I guess) for upgrade. I had to provide my car VIN number and after a hour I got a call that everything is ready and we can meet. He came with a laptop, a USB cable, an OBD2 device and a stick. On that stick the upgrade app was already loaded. He just plugged the stick in one of R Link 2 USB ports and on the screen appeared some messages of files downloaded. It takes about 10 - 15 minutes. After that he used OBD2 and DDT4ALL to "open" Android Auto - another 5-10 minutes (he double checked everything)..
So, in total about 40 minutes (including greetings, startup the laptop, plug in  etc.) :D
At home I had to reinstall my apps and my maps - you know the drill!!!
Renault recognized the new configuration and gave me last maps (I still have subscription). So, no problems at all!

I asked him about the possibility to do this online or to send the app to somebody. He is a student and ... you know... he get some money for each upgrade. The app is the one important. If he send the app it can be used by anybody. I hope you understand!!!

If I missed something please ask! I am sure in a few months more and more will be able to do this!

I live in France.
Can you contact the person who made you the update to find out how I can do with it for the update on my car.
I have a laptop with DDT4ALL, a USB cable, an OBD2 device and a stick with Software 3.3.16.960
Thanks in advance.

You can come to Romania! When you are ready tell me and I will help you. By the way, the Turkish Kadjar Forum members offered him full refund of plane tickets to Istanbul. :D My advice is to wait a little and I am sure the upgrade will be available in France too.
