Hi Hadryan, I am not very technical sound and I had these installed by workshops. The interface is a plug&play device to work with our Rlink similar to reverse cam channel in R gear, so it can be set up to prompt the video screens when moving off the vehicle - in D gear, turning indicators - left and right to show left cam or right cam respectively, parking in P gear or reverse in R gear which replaces the default reverse cam but showing default distance sensors, 3D front angle or 3D rear angle..etc. I believe these are manufactured in China. I understood these workshops can also modify using without plug&play interface but the video can only prompt in R gear like reverse cam. The costs were S$900(360) and S$750(interface).
