And in my country nobody cares :D You could drive with whatever tyres and rims you like and nobody would say a thing - neither the insurance company, nor the authorities.

Hi Guys!

My problem is almost the same.
Original summer size is 225/45 r19 but its to stiff I think. But officially we can not put /55 instead of /45. because the difference is too much between this two size.
I heard that the ABS, Automatic handbrake, Auto hold break will be work abnormally with bigger /55 tyre size.
Have someone any info or experience whit  Tyre size 225/55 r19?

Thanks in advance.

I have one year driving with 225 55 r19 and i am telling you they are great, handbrake abs everything works properly, nothing abnormal. Only one thing is for those who have autoparking, won't be able to use it as normal. it won't park as with 225 45 r19 tyres. Different circumference size . In rest even driving agressive the car drives very well. you are on your own to choose
