He is asking why tail lights are off when day driving....same thing that puzzled me when bought this car.
And then I started looking at other brands of new cars on the road - no one had tail lights on during day.

I also started looking, but my observations were 50/50 for the new cars. Later Renault fixed that and the cars after already have the lights on. Anyway, it's a very dangerous situation, especially in snow and fog and it takes only 2 minutes to be fixed.

The reason for the difference between different makes of car is that the law requires that running lights are compulsory on the front of a vehicle but the rears are optional which is why manufacturers vary as to fitting or not.

Used ddt4all and made them turn on when ignition is on. It's in the ddt4all topic.

And much more. One of nice features is also that daylight running light turn off when indicator light is on...
