Taken from the german Kadjar forum. The guy that posted it says it works. It's in Italian. If someone speaks the language, may translate it ;) They have a german version too.

But I understand that app need SW version 7.x at minimum to run...
I sent instructions to friend who speaks Italian to translate this...
2016 White 1.6 dCi 4WD BOSE with Premium Techno Pack, Winter Pack, Panoramic glass roof & autodipp mirror and retractable towbar.
Added ambient illumination, few chrome trims,
Replaced R-Link2 V2.2 SW version 9. 0.34.611, enabled Android Auto and CarPlay (change USB slots)
Maps: Here 2022Q2

I also noticed that, but I think some guys with V3 manged to enable it. I have not tried it myself.
