The same things happens to me last night.

Update (after long time). Last year I requested upgrade of RLink software ( from version 2.x). During the upgrade the Rlink died and I got the new  unit ( not sure what exactly they change during that process).  Since then I have Rlink version 7.x in the car and I haven't experienced the problem anymore.  So it seems the Rlink upgrade sorted it out. ( hopefully )
